January 26, 2004 - The World Grand Prix will return to Pasig Coty in the Philippines when the 2004 edition starts in July following the confirmation that the PSC-Philsports Multi Purpose Arena will again play host to the premier annual event on the women's international Volleyball calendar.
Located within the Philsports Complex in Pasig City, the arena has already been home to numerous national and international events of a grand scale and with a 10,000-seating capacity and state-of-the art lighting and sound equipment, it is expected to be a wonderful venue for the best women's Volleyball teams around the world.
The MPA hosted such high calibre international Volleyball tournaments such as the 12th Asian Senior Women’s Volleyball Championship (1997), World Grand Prix 3rd Leg (1999) and the World Grand Prix 3rd Leg and Finals (2000).
This year, the Philsports MPA is poised to serve as the main venue of the World Grand Prix Asian Leg. It is an event that is sure to gather sports practitioners and enthusiasts alike in celebration of one of the most popular sports in the world.
