Tunis, Tunisia, January 6, 2004 - The African Olympic Qualification tournament organizing committee made the decision on Monday to disqualify Nigeria from the competition because they didn't arrive in Tunisia until midnight on Monday, therefore missing their opening match against the hosts on Monday.

The match schedule has been modified as follows:

6 Jan. 2004 - Match 2 ALGERIA/TUNISIA
7 Jan. 2004 - Match 3 S. AFRICA/EGYPT
8 Jan. 2004 - Rest Day
9 Jan. 2004 - Match 4 EGYPT/ALGERIA, Match 5 TUNISIA/S. AFRICA
10 Jan. 2004 - Match 6 EGYPT/TUNISIA
