August 13, 2003 - The Brazilian U21 men's team left their home country on Werdnesday to embark on their defense of the U21 World Championship in Tehran, Iran, which starts on August 23 and finishes on August 31.
Following championship wins in 1993 (Argentina) and 2001 (Poland), Brazil will attermpt to collect their third title in the age group and to make sure they are fully prepared Brazil head to Berlin, Germany to build up for the tournament from August 14 to 20.
Brazil are aiming to add the U21 title to their senior men's triumph of the World League and the Boy's U19 title won already this year.
At the World Championship, Brazil plays its first match against Poland on August 23 before playing Canada on the following day. Their last match in the classification phase is on August 25 against Tunisia.
