August 09, 2003 - Two matches between Kenya and Serbia and Montenegro and Belarus against Brazil will open the 8th Girls' U18 World Championship in Poland on Saturday starting at 08:00 GMT.
Kenya, who finished 13th at the 2001 U18 World Championship, will be one of the favourites in Pool A along with European champions Croatia while Brazil, who finished second in 2001, should be too strong for a Belarus side, who finished 13th in 2001, in Pool D.
The next matches start at 10:30 GMT with Russia playing Egypt in Poll B and Chinese Taipei taking on Italy in Pool C.
The winners from 2001, China, play at 15:30 GMT when they come up against Hungary in Pool C.
There are eight games on Saturday before another before another eight on Sunday and eight more on Monday, which will complete the preliminary round pool play.
Following pool play there will be six more matches in a play-off round before the Final Round starts with 12 matches.
