Venezuela dispatch Barbados in less than one hour

August 05, 2003 - The Venezuelen men's national team had an easy afternoon crushing Barbados 3-0 (25-13, 25-21, 25-18) in just 58 minutes to keep its unbeaten record in two outings.

The Venezuelans, who previously defeated the Dominican Republic in five sets, were led by Tomas Ereu with nine points and Carlos Luna with seven.

Coach Miguel Cambero of Venezuela utilized the match to rotate his players and all the 12 members of his side saw action.

Renier Grace was the best scorer for Barbados with nine points followed by Fabian Cox with eight. Barbados now stand at 0-2 overall. Their next match will be against Dominican Republic.
