Porto Santo, Madeira - Day two of competition at the Porto Santo Line/TMN International Exhibition Tournament saw two impressive matches on sunny Porto Santo with Australians Natalie Cook and Nicole Sanderson, who may have endured a tough time in the opening phase against Canadian duo Maxwell-Lessard, but the Canadian dream of beating Olympic champion "Nat" didn't last too long.
With powerfull hits and thrilling defense, the Aussia pair dictated the rest of the game imposing their strong rhythm to win the match 2-0 (21-15, 21-13).
The second match of the day saw a battle between the young Brazilian pair Renata/Shaylin against the more experienced Yanchelova sisters of Bulgaria.
After winning the first set in a tight 21-19, Shaylin and Renata failed to keep pace and lost the second set by 17-21.
Although they had a hard time dealing with the wind, they fought back in the decider to save two match balls when they were behind at 12-14 then gathered momentum to win the tiebreaker 18-16.

On the third day of competition australia meets Brazil and Canada plays Bulgaria to complete the matches before the finals, which will be transmited by RTP International television after 5pm local time on Friday.
