Korea welcomes FIVB President

 
FIVB President Mr. Jizhong Wei met with members of the Korea Volleyball Association during the visit and underlined the importance of player's rights
Seoul, Korea, April 6, 2010 – FIVB President Mr. Jizhong Wei completed a visit to Korea on Monday where he discussed Volleyball development in the country with the Korea Volleyball Association and took in the V-League Men’s Play-off match between Korean Airlines Jumbos and Hyundai Capital Skywalkers.

The five-day visit saw Mr. Wei discuss the country’s Volleyball progress with Korea Volleyball Association Executive Vice-President Mr. Park Byung-Lae, KVA Managing Director Mr. Lee Chun-Pyo, AVC Vice-President Mr. Yim Hyung-Bin and AVC SEC Secretary Dr. Eom Han-Joo.

The FIVB President specifically underlined the importance of player’s rights, underlining the fact that they are the most important aspect to the game.

"Without players, national federations are nothing,” Mr. Wei said. “Without players, there is no meaning for FIVB to exist."
