Second victory for Giginoglu in Nestea Pro Beach Tour

The Nestea Pro Beach Tour's second event in 2014 took place at the beautiful Ilica Beach in Izmir

Izmir, Turkey, June 16, 2014 - The second stage of the Nestea Pro Beach Tour came to an end with Murat Giginoglu / Engin Ozbek’s victory in the men’s tournament and Burcu Atasoy / Fatma Yildirim’s glory in the women's event.  There was a great atmosphere for beach volleyball on Ilica Beach in Izmir and approximately 1,500 people watched the final games.

Murat Giginoglu won the first Nestea Pro Beach Tour event and participated in last month’s 2014 CEV Beach Volleyball Satellite Antalya with Selcuk Sekerci. Giginoglu and his partner at the tournament in Izmir - Engin Ozbek - did not lose a single set until the final.  In the gold medal game, Giginoglu / Ozbek faced the Gogtepe brothers, Volkan and Hakan, and won the top prize with a 2-1 victory.

In the women’s main draw final, Burcu Atasoy / Fatma Yildirim had a more comfortable win against Selin Yurtsever / Bahanur Sahin, finishing the job in straight sets 2-0.

The Nestea Pro Beach Tour, which consists of six events, is part of the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) Pro Beach Tour 2014, which started on May 29 and will come to an end on September 14, after a total of 17 stops.
