Lausanne, Switzerland, June 17, 2013 – Continuing to set the pace as the world’s foremost beach volleyball country, teams from Brazil lead both the men and women’s point standings in 2013 FIVB international competition following last week’s FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Hague Grand Slam in The Hague, Netherlands. Beginning a new Olympic cycle in 2013, the four FIVB international men’s events have been won by a different and new team in each event.

The event in Rome will be held Wednesday through Sunday.

The third double gender Grand Slam event on the 2013 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour was held this past week with the $440,000 FIVB Hague Grand Slam in The Hague, Netherlands.
