Moscow offers final shot at Olympic dream

Moscow hosted its third major beach volleyball tournament of the year when it welcomed the first ever FIVB Beach Volleyball World Cup Olympic Qualification Tournament from June 28 to July 1, 2012.

The action took place at the Vodny Stadium with some of the world's top beach volleyball teams battling it out for a final chance to book their place at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The second and third ranked NOCs/NFs from each of the Continental Cup Finals were on show as they fought for a ticket to the British capital.

In the end it was the Netherlands and Russia who sealed the final two tickets to London, prompting celebration among their players
