The Qualification Tournament will be preceded by the Country Quota Playoff matches (with a single elimination format) to determine the teams eligible to participate in the Main Draw through the Qualification Tournament.

The Qualification Tournament (i.e. max 32 teams at the competition of the Country Quota Playoff matches) will consist of a single-elimination format in order to define 8 teams for Main Draw .

The Main Draw consists of 32 teams and will be based on a double-elimination format.

The winners of the 2 semi-finals will play the finals for the 1^st and 2^nd place, while the losers will play the finals for the 3^rd and 4^th place.

Athletes must attend the Preliminary Inquiry and present their official forms WT/07 and WT/08 (player's commitment, health certificate, and bank information), if not already previously provided to the FIVB (compulsory).

Athletes attendance at the technical meeting is mandatory. If required, a drawing of lots will be made during the meeting; match-up seeding and additional detailed information on the competition will be distributed.
Athletes will be requested to provide their ID card or passport during the Technical Meeting.

Uniforms:
If required by FIVB Technical Supervisor, uniforms will be checked during the Preliminary Inquiry, Athletes of the same team must wear the same color and style of shorts. The display of the individual player's sponsors logos on shorts and accessories must comply with the FIVB advertising regulations.

Tank tops will be provided by the organizers to the athletes, uniforms will also be provided by the organizers to officials and organizing staff.

Organizers will provide local transportation, shuttle transport from Hotel Tourist to the competition venue.

Players, flying by air, should go from the Boryspil international airport by bus to the South Terminal of Kiev-Pasazhyrskiy Railway Station and then by underground subway to Vokzalnaya metro station. From Vokzalnaya metro station players should go to Levoberezhnaya metro station (Hotel Tourist). Players, using the railway, should go by metro from Vokzalnaya metro station to the Levoberezhnaya metro station (Hotel Tourist).

Qualification Tournament teams will be responsible for all their expenses.
 

The Organizer will however provide the Main Draw teams (including the athletes proceeding from the Qualification Tournament into the Main Draw) with hotel accommodation (double room) in the organizer's designated hotel and with meals from the evening of Thursday July 29^th to breakfast on Monday August 2^nd.
 

Players are personally responsible for all and any extras at the hotel such as minibar, phone calls, laundry, etc that must be paid at checkout.

Main Draw Players

The Promoter will have the pleasure to welcome all main draw players arriving in Ukraine at the Boryspil international airport.

Local transportation for any other persons, such as coaches, guests, or family members will not be under the responsibility of the promoter.

Players are responsible for their own international and domestic airfare and for any airport taxes or visa expenses. Players are requested to apply early enough for their entry visas, whenever needed.

Organizers will provide all Organizing Committee members, FIVB Officials, referees, athletes, VIP's, journalists, technical staff, court personnel, volunteers, etc. with an official accreditation card and will ensure that only people with appropriate accreditation will access the designated venue areas. Organizers are also requested to provide accreditation cards for one coach and one physiotherapist per team (exclusively if the individual concerned is enlisted on the FIVB web site).

It is mandatory that all athletes have their own liability and medical insurance. The FIVB will not be held responsible for any medical expenses incurred while competing in a tournament.
