Brazil v Italy final confirmed for San Marino
Cattolica, Italy, July 24, 2004 - Top seeds Pedro Grael Branzao and Marcelo Duarte from Brazil confirmed their spot in Saturday∆s final of the San Marino Satellite in Cattolica after a hard-fought 21-19 and 25-23 win over Italian brothers Alfredo and Francesco Tabarini Saturday morning.

Branzao and Duarte will play fifth seeds Fosco Cicola and Andrea Rafaeli of Italy, who defeated second-seeded Martin Engvik and Ole Martin Kleivenes of Norway 21-12, 17-21 and 15-12 in a riveting semifinal.

For Cicola, "it was a nice and hard game until the last point. We were good in keeping our concentration after losing the second set and now we are very happy to take part in this final against Grael and Marcelo, and fight to have a taste of sweet revenge, as we were defeated by them in the quarterfinals on Friday."

Branzao and Duarte defeated Cicola and Rafaeli 21-19 and 21-18 in the third-round of the winner's bracket to earn a spot in the semi-finals of the SWATCH-FIVB World Tour event.
