Partnerships behind World Tour's improved popularity

The FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Graça F° welcomes the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Council members to their annual meeting at the FIVB headquarters on Thursday

Lausanne, Switzerland, October 8, 2015 – FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Graça F° congratulated the promoters of the 16 World Tour events staged in the 2015 season as he officialy opened the annual FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Council on Thursday.

“We have great partners, we have great promoters and we have a great product," President Graça said. "Let’s continue the great work and the many significant accomplishments we have achieved together, continue to build the partnerships we have already forged and go even further in the years ahead.

“I want to stimulate promoters – current ones and new ones - in order to increase level of tournaments. We are all working together to contribute to the great success and popularity of beach volleyball.

“The strong indication that the FIVB firmly believes in beach volleyball's potential are the new agreements we have reached with new partners such as Red Bull Media House and the Beach Volleyball Major Company.

“Let’s improve our tournaments, create greater value with our tournaments and let’s work together. We will do it.”

Red Bull Media House and the Beach Volleyball Major Company were special guests at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Council.

“We are aware of the great attributes of beach volleyball and firmly share the views of the FIVB that beach volleyball is a wonderful sport, with great athletes and great entertainment,” Red Bull Senior Sports Rights Manager Nicole Gruber-Gill Lopez told the Council. “We are very pleased and honoured to be able to share our expertise with you.

“Our vision is to raise beach volleyball to the next level together with the FIVB and we have a mission to raise exposure through our extensive distribution channels and communication platforms.”
