Saxton and Schalk have competed in 32 FIVB World Tour events with three podium placements, including a bronze medal at last month’s Polish Grand Slam in Olsztyn. The pair has a 78-64 (54.9 winning percentage) FIVB World Tour match record. Their best FIVB placement in 2015 was a second this season at the Japanese Grand Slam where they lost the finale to Brazilians Alison Cerutti and Bruno Oscar Schmidt. Saxton and Schalk posted Canada’s best-ever placement in the 2013 FIVB World Championships by placing fifth at the Stare Jablonki event. The Canadians ended the 2014 FIVB World Tour campaign with bronze medal finish in Paraná, Argentina. Saxton and Schalk have placed on the podium for all five NORCECA tour events they have played with gold medal finishes in 2012 in the United States (Chula Vista) and 2014 in Trinidad and Tobago (Courland). In both finals, the Canadians defeated American pairs, including Jake Gibb and Casey Patterson in the T&T gold medal match. The pair has a 27-3 record for NORCECA to improve their overall record to 105-67 (61.0%).

Schalk competed on the FIVB World Tour for the first-time in 2010 and became a regular participant in 2013 with Saxton. He has played in 44 FIVB World Tour events with four different partners with his best placements being with Saxton. His FIVB World Tour match mark is 90-78 (53.6%).

Saxton played in his first FIVB World Tour event in 2007 and became a regular in 2010. Playing in 64 FIVB World Tour events with five different partners, Saxton’s best finishes have been with Schalk. Saxton has a 117-114 FIVB World Tour match mark (50.6 winning percentage). Saxton and Christian Redmann were part of winning 2012 NORCECA Continental squad that earned Canada a spot in the London Olympics, but the pair lost the one match playoff with Josh Binstock and Martin Reader to represent the North American country in Summer Games.
