Menegatti and Cicolari will feature in only their second FIVB SWATCH World Tour final of 2012 after losing to Brazil's Larissa and Juliana at the Beijing Grand Slam

Lausanne, Switzerland, August 19, 2012 – Larissa and Juliana of Brazil will face Greta Cicolari and Marta Menegatti of Italy in the women’s final of the Mazury Orlen Grand Slam.
The Brazilian bronze medallists from London beat Germany’s Katrin Holtwick and Ilka Semmler 2-1 (21-17, 14-21, 15-10) in their hard-fought semifinal.
The Italians, who will feature in only their second FIVB SWATCH World Tour final of 2012 after losing to Larissa and Juliana at the Beijing Grand Slam in May, beat Russia’s Evgenia Ukolova and Ekaterina Khomyakova for the fourth time in five matches in another three-set match, losing the first set 16-21 before coming back to take the second 21-19 and the third 15-9.
The Mazury Orlen Grand Slam is the ninth of nine mixed gender tournaments on the 2012 FIVB SWATCH World Tour and the 10th women’s tournament of the year. The winning side will leave with the largest share from a pot of $300,000 per gender.
