Lausanne, Switzerland, April 12, 2012 - Two-time FIVB Beach Volleyball SWATCH world champion Brazilian Adriana Behar is tipping compatriots Juliana Felisberta Silva and Larissa França and Alison Cerutti and Emanuel Rego to take the women’s and men’s gold medals respectively on the first stop of this year’s SWATCH World Tour in Brasilia in her first FIVB blog of the season.
Speaking on Thursday she said that the passion from the fans will help give the home teams an extra boost in what is expected to be a competitive start to this Olympic year.
She also said that despite the London 2012 Games being just five months away, every player will be heading into each SWATCH World Tour competition with victory in mind as they look to gain momentum ahead of this year’s biggest event.
