Norway's beach volleyball hopefuls set for spring training

Stavanger, Norway, March 3, 2011 – The Norwegian Volleyball Federation (NVBF) has announced that it will hold special training weekends for its men's and women's junior sides and its boys' and girls' youth teams as they prepare for the new beach volleyball season.

Norway will be entering teams in both the FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch Junior World Championships, set to take place in Halifax, Canada from August 31-September 4, and the FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch Youth World Championships in Umag, Croatia from June 22-26.

The women will meet this weekend from March 4-6 while the men will train the following weekend from March 11-13. Both sessions will take place in Stavanger, which will host the second FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch World Tour Grand Slam of the year from 27 June-July 3.
