A holiday atmosphere on the men's Polish stop
STARE JABLONKI
2007
- The scenic recreational centre amidst the lakes and woods hosts the SWATCH-FIVB
World Tour for the fourth-straight year. After taking the bronze in 2005,
Brazil's Ricardo and Emanuel won their second Polish title in 2006 as
compatriots Pedro and Franco took the silver. The third place for Chinese duo
Penggen Wu and Linyin Xu was the team's best finish in 2006 and left the podium
clear of any European teams. Polish teams have finished 25th at the past three
editions of the event. The Stare Jablonki stop is
situated on courts at the Hotel Anders resort in the Mazurian Lakes District in
north-eastern Poland, about 30 km south-west of Olsztyn. The Hotel Anders,
situated in the Taborskie Woods on the Lake Szelag Maly, is a 150-room resort
that features both Polish and European style cuisine.
