Together since: 2009 (32)
Poland’s Piotr Kantor and Bartosz Losiak are the dominant figures
in age-group beach volleyball and have won FIVB Beach Volleyball
World Championships at the U19, U21 and U23 level. They added the
inaugural U23 world title in front of their home fans in Myslowice this
year having won U21 gold in Halifax, Canada in 2012 and U19 gold in
Porto, Portugal in 2010. They also have a silver medal from the 2011
U21 World Championships. The two 21-year-olds actually made their
senior FIVB debuts before starting on their march through age-group
tournaments when they competed at the 2009 Stare Jablonki Open.
Kantor and Losiak have never played with anyone else and while they
have yet to finish on the podium, the fact they helped Poland finish
third at the 2012 CEV Continental Cup, plus their success in age-
group beach volleyball, indicates that it should not be too long before
they do.
