Situated on the northern Atlantic coast, 400km from

With just over 500,000 inhabitants, Mar del Plata is a
solid and attractive city, favoured by the gentle
drama of a sweeping coastline and hilly terrain.

interrupted by the port of Mar del Plata, which is the
country's most important port devoted to fishing

submarines of the National Army. Numerous cinema and
jazz festivals, as well as important sporting

the streets of the town centre, especially, along
Constitution Avenue and today's fashionable area
located in the south of the beautiful Torreón del
Monje.
