-The top 32 men's teams / 24 women's teams in the FIVB World Ranking (as per the standings 30 days before the start of the competition) are not allowed to take part in Satellite and Challenger events.

 
- Players who enter in both a Challenger and an Open event played on the same dates will not be sanctioned for not participating in the Challenger and Satellite events in the case that they qualify for the main draw in the clashing Open event.
