Preliminary Inquiry / Technical Meetings & Uniforms

                   Players must attend the Preliminary Inquiry and present their uniforms and official forms (players' commitment, health certificate, Prize Money) during the inquiry.


Players must attend the Technical Meeting. Draws will be made during the meeting; seeding and detailed information on the competition will be distributed to players during the meeting.

UNIFORMS:
Uniforms will be checked during the Preliminary Inquiry. Players of the same team must wear the same colour and style of shorts. The display of players' sponsors’ logos on shorts and accessories is free as long as it complies with FIVB advertising regulations.

Organisers will provide one playing tank top per player for qualifications and tank  tops for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday matches.  Quantities and method of distribution to be discussed at the PRELIMINARY MEETINGS.

International & local transportation and board & lodging

Players are responsible for their own international and domestic airfare and for any airport taxes or visa expenses. Players are requested to apply early enough for their entry visas, whenever needed.

The organiser will arrange and be responsible for all local transportation for all main draw participants, Officials and referees, including transportation between the nearest international airport and the site, and when needed, between the official hotel(s) and the venue of any technical and official hospitality or social functions.

Organizer will welcome event athletes at PLESO – ZAGREB INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT and will provide free transportation from airport to the Island of Rab with a BUS leaving airport at 18:00 - 07.07.2004. and 18:00 – 08.07.2004.

All teams are requested to send in their detailed travel itinerary to confirm their arrival and register for a spot on the provided transportation.  All information is required by

After July 2nd, it will be very difficult to organize accordingly.

Travel back to airport will be organize at the venue and will allow for people to return by bus 10.07.04 (18:00), 11.07.04. (18:00) and 12.07.04. (13:00).

Board & lodging:
The promoter will cover the board & lodging costs of all the national teams taking part in the main draw.  All other players are responsible for their own accommodations.

All players are personally responsible for all and any extras at the hotel such as mini bar, phone calls, laundry, etc that must be paid at checkout.

& On the bed & breakfast basis, Half boardFor bed & Full & half board prices exist and it is all served on the buffet breakfast, buffet dinner or buffet lunch basis with included drinks during the main meals: wine (red or white), water, beer and soft drinks.

Owing to its location it is an ideal holiday resort for families with small children, for not a good swimmers, and for the senior citizens during the periods before and after the main season that are interested in a beach holiday as this flat beach provides to the senior citizens going into the sea without any difficulties. Insurance

It is mandatory that all athletes have their own liability and medical insurance. The FIVB will not be held responsible for any medical expenses incurred while competing in a tournament.
