The French
Internationals will play on the main beach of Le Lavandou,
Plage du Centre, opposite City Hall. Le Lavandou is located
on the south coast of France, 120km from Marseille, near
Toulon.
A stadium of
nearly 2 000 seats and a total of 5 official courts, plus 1
warm up court will be set up by MCO.
Four courts
will be available for training, starting from August 20,
2003.

22, 2003
at the event site for the list of attendance, competition
information, seeding, etc., as

International & local transportation and board & lodging |

Athletes (or/and
their NFs) are responsible for their own international and
domestic airfare and for any airport taxes or visa expenses.
Athletes (or their NFs) are also
requested to apply early enough for their entry visas,
whenever needed.
The organizers
recommend the following airports:

Note: Each Athlete is responsible to arrange his/her own

MCO will not
provide foreign teams with hotel accommodation.
MCO will only provide French teams with hotel accommodation
(double room) and meals from the evening of August 22nd,
2003 to noon of August 24th, 2003.
Athletes are personally responsible for all extras at the
hotel such as minibar, phone calls, laundry, etc. that must
be paid at checkout.
The organizers are not required to make reservations for
coaches, friends, and family members accompanying the
participating athlete. |

Insurance |
|
It
is mandatory that all athletes have their own liability and
medical insurance. The FIVB, FFVB and MCO are not
responsible for any medical expenses incurred while
competing in a tournament.
