Poland hosts 2007 SWATCH FIVB U-19 World Championships

The sixth SWATCH FIVB World Championships for players under the age of 19 will be held from 11-15 July in Myslowice, Poland. Located in the Upper Silesia region of Poland, Myslowice was a crossroads in the era of the German, Austro-Hungarian and Russian empires.  Myslowice has a population of around 75,000, is home to various international companies and has excellent international transport connections by road, rail and air. At the 2006 event in Bermuda, Australia's Alice Rohkamper and Becchara Palmer took the country's first medal in the competition as the only non-European duo to reach the final four for the whole event (men's and women's competitions).
