Exhibition draws to a close
Daiba, Tokyo August 03, 2003 - The third and final day of the 2003 International Beach Volleyball Exhibition event in Daiba, Tokyo came to a close on Sunday with more than 10,000 people witnessing a spectacular event in wonderful conditions with Japan and the USA taking gold in the respective women's and men's events. Thirty-six degree temperatures and high humidity set the scene for final's day and that didn't deter locals from filling the grandstand and surrounding area to make for standing room only before the start of the first match on Sunday.
