airport: Rome - Leonardo da Vinci (FCO)
International transportation: Athletes (or/and NVF) are responsible for their own international and
domestic airfare and for any further expenses such as visa or airport taxes.
Athletes (and/or National Federations) are requested to apply early enough for
their visas, whenever needed.
Local transport: Transportation for Main Draw Athletes from both international airports in
Rome to and from the Official Hotel is organized by the Local Organizer.
Athletes are responsible to send their travel information via fax or email by no later than Monday, July

Local Transportation of accompanying persons is under their own responsibility.
Remark:
As an alternative to the official airports, it is recommended to use the Pescara
airport (ca. 40 km) and Ancona-Falconara (ca. 130 km
with good train connections).
Please note that there is no shuttle service to these airports by the organizers.
The organizers are planning to set-up a shuttle-service for all Qualification
Tournament Players for a small fee from Rome if this is of interest. Please
contact: challengeroseto@yahoo.it.
Accreditation:
The Local Organizer shall provide all Organizing Committee members, FIVB
Officials, VIPs, athletes, referees, technical staff, court personnel,
volunteers, etc. with official accreditation cards and make sure that only
people with valid accreditation card are allowed access to restricted areas.
